Job summary

The Motion Agency in Cincinnati seeks a strategic, hands-on Creative Director to grow Motion’s creative presence. You will guide branding, campaigns and digital experiences, partnering with Chicago-based directors and local clients to shape the office's future.

This role blends design excellence with leadership, mentoring teams, presenting to clients, and driving award-winning work across branding, print, digital and immersive channels, while upholding Motion’s values and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related field.
• 8–10+ years agency or integrated marketing experience with design leadership.
• Exceptional hands-on design skills with outstanding portfolio (portfolio link required).
• Experience leading branding, print, digital and integrated campaigns.
• Proven ability to lead client presentations and workshops.
• Strong branding, typography, print production and digital experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision behind brands, campaigns, communications and digital experiences.
• Guide projects from discovery through execution, ensuring strategic grounding and flawless delivery.
• Set and maintain high standards of creative quality across client engagements.
• Direct conceptual development and workflow across multiple accounts.
• Work with Chicago team and local clients to align on direction and outcomes.
