Qualifications

• Strong CRE underwriting and financial modeling experience.
• Experience analyzing CRE asset classes.
• Ability to build models independently and identify key risk drivers.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a growing organization with evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze commercial real estate lending opportunities.
• Build cash flow models and investment analyses from scratch.
• Evaluate property performance, sponsor strength, market fundamentals, and loan structures.
• Prepare investment memorandums and recommendations for approvals.
• Support originators through diligence and closing.
• Assist asset management across the portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify credit concerns.
• Collaborate with sponsors and borrowers to address performance challenges.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and risk discussions.
• Assist with investment strategy and portfolio management initiatives.
