Job summary

Offit Kurman seeks a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney for our Charlotte, NC office to lead complex CRE transactions. You will handle acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing, while growing your practice with the firm’s entrepreneurial, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of CRE experience, NC bar in good standing, and strong drafting/negotiation/communication skills to manage deals from inception to closing with little supervision.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina.
• South Carolina bar is preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of commercial real estate experience.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, disclosure agreements, development agreements, and commercial leases.
• Significant contract review, drafting and negotiation.
• Manage transactions from inception to closing with extensive client contact and minimal supervision.
