Job summary

Wealth Management seeks a Sr Application Developer to lead end-to-end CRD enhancements, configuring CRD Workbenches and integrating frontend and backend APIs using the Charles River API Framework. You will build and support REST-based workflows, apply portfolio optimization concepts, and collaborate with Portfolio Engineering to ensure Start-of-Day readiness and ongoing stability.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in financial application development, strong SQL, Java/C#, and Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of application development experience in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Charles River API Framework (frontend and backend).
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Experience with Java or C#.
• REST API integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• 3+ years CRD implementation / customization and Workbench configuration.
• Experience with CRD Batch Automation, monitoring, and exception handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of CRD enhancements: requirements, design, configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Configure Manager Work Bench or Central Work Bench layouts, workflows, rules, and result sets.
• Work hands-on with the Charles River API Framework: Frontend APIs and Backend APIs.
• Build and support integration workflows using REST APIs, services, and messaging frameworks.
• Apply portfolio optimization concepts: risk models, constraints, exposures, transaction cost analysis.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Engineering to support optimization workflows feeding CRD.
• Ensure Start-of-Day readiness for CRD and maintain system stability.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, diagrams, and interface docs.
