Job summary

Qode Page is seeking a Sr Application Developer for Charles River Development (CRD) in wealth management. The role requires extensive CRD APIFRAMEWORK experience, frontend and backend, with 10+ years in application development and strong SQL and Python skills.

On-site with future WFH one day a week after 90 days, locations include Camas, WA, Plano, TX or Tampa, FL. The candidate will lead CRD enhancements, configure Work Benches, and build integrations, leveraging REST APIs and optimization

Qualifications

• Must have financial institution or wealth management background in investment.
• Hands-on experience with the Charles River API Framework (frontend and backend).
• 10+ years experience in Application Development.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Java or C# with ability to interpret, collaborate, and support integrations.
• REST API integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Python programming.
• 3+ years CRD Implementation / Customization and Workbench configuration.
• Experience with CRD Batch Automation, monitoring, and exception handling.
• Familiarity with portfolio optimization concepts including risk factors and models.
• Experience with optimization tools such as Axioma and OMET/Gap Point.
• Experience with Order Management workflows, markets, and trading processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of CRD enhancements: requirements, design, configuration, integrations, testing, deployment, and support.
• Configure Manager Work Bench or Central Work Bench layouts, workflows, rules, and result sets.
• Hands-on work with the Charles River API Framework across frontend and backend APIs.
• Build and support integration workflows using REST APIs, services, and messaging frameworks.
• Apply knowledge of portfolio optimization concepts and risk models.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Engineering to support optimization workflows.
• Ensure Start-of-Day readiness for CRD and maintain system stability.
• Translate requirements into detailed specifications and user stories.
