Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support and oversee clinical studies in Rochester, NY. The role works under PI and Clinic Manager supervision, coordinating daily activities to meet study objectives and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in clinical research, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across multiple studies, with proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of GCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum an associate degree with related experience.
• 3–5 years of clinical research experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research databases.
• Knowledge of GCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee studies of moderate complexity independently.
• Serve as primary coordinator on assigned studies.
• Lead study startup, monitoring prep and close-out activities.
• Mentor CRC I staff and other personnel.
• Maintain study documentation per SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
