Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a CPQ Application Developer/System Analyst to collect requirements, design, develop, test, implement and support CPQ solutions across the enterprise. You will work with Sales Operations, Product Offering Managers, and Engineers to capture configuration needs and implement best-in-class CPQ solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience with Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) or equivalent, strong technical skills, and a focus on user experience to improve sales efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or similar).
• Experience collecting, writing, and maintaining configurator specification documentation.
• Experience building and maintaining product configurators.
• Experience working with cross-functional integrations between systems in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Strong experience with SaaS applications including developing, extending, and debugging cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with REST and SOAP APIs to build and integrate CPQ modules.
• Ability to work flexibly with shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain product configurators using multiple programming languages (BML, BMQL, SOAP, REST, JavaScript, CSS).
• Elicit and communicate requirements among stakeholders and present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to articulate problems and opportunities.
• Identify business issues, assess solutions, and meet stakeholder needs.
• Test configuration models with Marketing and Engineering before release.
• Pursue continuous learning and skill development.
• Utilize project management and office tools to facilitate collaboration.
