Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Scheduler III to manage and maintain project schedules across all phases of the lifecycle, from RFQ to closeout. The role emphasizes CPM scheduling, schedule health, and collaboration with field leadership and project controls teams.

The candidate will develop reports, lead update meetings, ensure resource alignment, and mentor junior schedulers while supporting earned value tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of industry experience, or 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years in scheduling or project controls.
• Proficient in scheduling software (Primavera P6).
• Familiarity with earned value reporting and histogram interpretation.
• Understanding of intermediate CPM principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate project and owner reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Lead schedule update meetings and represent construction plans.
• Perform schedule updates, logic re-application, and resource distribution.
• Analyze resource requirements and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor schedule health indicators and execution adherence.
• Conduct quality checks (e.g., open ends, float, Acumen Fuse).
• Balance earned hours between earned value systems and schedules.
• Mentor junior schedulers and support their development.
