Job summary

SmartPM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Scheduling SME in Atlanta to work with general contractors and owners on CPM scheduling across multiple projects.

The role blends advanced scheduling with analytics, requiring deep CPM expertise and strong client-facing skills. You’ll guide teams from mature schedulers to those building scheduling discipline, contributing to project controls and platform adoption while coordinating with Professional Services and Sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Project Scheduler/Planner at a large ENR-ranked GC, CM, or design-build firm.
• Experience developing, updating, and progressing CPM schedules on large-scale projects.
• Experience building or improving scheduling processes and standards.
• Strong command of Primavera P6; working knowledge of MS Project.
• Experience with delay analysis methodologies (time impact, windows, as‑built).
• Solid understanding of schedule quality standards and CPM scheduling specs.
• Experience communicating status and risk to executives and field leadership.
• US citizen with eligibility to work with Federal Government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted scheduling resource to project controls, scheduling, and PM teams using SmartPM.
• Discuss schedule quality, delay risk, and project health with peer schedulers for sophisticated customers.
• Help establish scheduling standards and cadences for less mature clients.
• Explain SPI, compression, float, and critical path health to executives and field leaders.
• Benchmark schedules against industry best practices and SmartPM standards.
• Support platform adoption within contractor scheduling workflows and owner contracts.
• Collaborate with Sales on customer demonstrations and credibility building.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on product improvements based on field needs.
• Contribute to webinars, content, and conference materials; support customer success.
• Work with Customer Success to drive long-term satisfaction and retention.
