ECS Financial Services LTD in Northbrook, IL seeks an experienced CPA to lead assurance and accounting engagements, including GAAP financial statement prep and review, and oversight of compilation, review, and audit work. The role combines client leadership with staff mentoring and growth opportunities.

You will manage engagements from planning through issuance, supervise staff, and build relationships with business owners and financial leaders while helping clients achieve their goals.

Competenze

• Active CPA license required.
• 7+ years of public accounting experience, including significant assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and attestation standards.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff.

Mansioni

• Lead compilation, review, and audit engagements from planning through issuance.
• Review GAAP financial statements and related disclosures.
• Ensure engagements meet professional standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify accounting, reporting, and attestation issues and develop practical solutions for clients.
• Maintain engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability objectives.
• Serve as the primary client contact and develop trusted advisor relationships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff accountants, seniors, and supervisors.
• Assist with proposals and business development efforts.
