Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy / Admixture Technician to join our team! This role supports the Pharmacy Department at our Plano Presbyterian location. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The position level (1, 2, or Sr) will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

The Pharmacy / Admixture Tech, supervised by a physician or registered pharmacist, performs technical tasks related to medication preparation, distribution, record keeping, and inventory control. Tasks are verified by licensed professionals and comply with US Oncology standards and state laws regarding compounding or mixing responsibilities.
Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent; 0-3 years pharmacy experience.
Level 2: 3-5 years pharmacy experience with IV skills; IV certification preferred; Pharmacy Technician certification recommended.
Level Sr: 5-7 years pharmacy experience with IV skills; oncology background preferred; completion of an accredited program recommended.
Includes manual dexterity, manual and finger coordination, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Requires full range of motion, vision, and hearing, with accommodations available for disabilities.
Primarily office-based with exposure to potential hazards from contact with medicinal and chemotherapeutic agents. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
