Job summary

Hawai`i State Judiciary Careers seeks a Chief Court Administrator I (Lautenberg) for the Fifth Circuit in Kauai. The role plans, directs, and coordinates administrative, business, and support functions to sustain judicial proceedings across criminal, civil, family, probation and traffic matters.

You will be part of the Judiciary's senior management team, developing operational guidelines and implementing improvements in the Hawaii State Judicial system, while ensuring effective supervision,

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supervising or coordinating activities in a court or legal setting.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports and interpret complex material.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, administer and coordinate all administrative, business and support functions for the circuit.
• Serve on the Judiciary's senior management team to develop and implement operational guidelines.
• Oversee development, evaluation, revision and implementation of procedures and policies in the Hawaii State Judiciary.
