The County of Santa Barbara is seeking up to 2 Assistant County Executive Officers to serve as a trusted advisor and project manager for the executive office and Board of Supervisors. The role will supervise department directors and senior staff, driving countywide initiatives and delivering services to the public.

Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, with a master’s degree highly desirable, and at least 8 years of progressive municipal leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or related field
• 8 years of increasingly responsible administrative and management experience in a full-service municipal environment
• Master’s degree highly desirable
