Job summary

Amentum is seeking a seasoned Counterterrorism/Insurgency Analyst to deliver all-source intelligence products and strategic assessments for DoD and IC customers from its Reston, VA operations. The role emphasizes study of terrorist networks, TTPs, and integration with SIGINT, GEOINT, and HUMINT sources.

Responsibilities include producing formal written analyses, leading analytic teams, and supporting DoD field collectors and contingency planning. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 12 years of counterterrorism/insurgency analytic experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree minimum education.
• Experience producing formal written strategic counterterrorism assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to produce all-source intelligence products for senior U.S. defense officials and CCMDs.
• Produce in-depth strategic and operational analysis of transnational terrorist networks and activities; coordinate with DIA and IC partners.
• Lead teams researching multifaceted or critical problems; guide analytic methodologies and ensure cogent conclusions.
• Provide analytical support for DoD field collectors and TDY support to partner nations.
• Communicate complex issues clearly in concise reports and briefings to senior stakeholders.
