Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team is seeking a Counterintelligence Officer to contribute to nationwide security efforts at on-site locations in Virginia. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph, a bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years of relevant experience.

You’ll leverage expertise in operations, intelligence priorities, and field coordination to support critical national security missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including targeting tools.
• Strong briefing and writing skills; ability to work with teams or independently.
• Regional/functional expertise in a geographic region of interest.
• Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
• Prior experience supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate inquisitiveness and proactive problem-solving to address complex operational challenges and identify emerging tools and capabilities.
• Engage effectively with customer managers across all levels of responsibility.
• Apply advanced knowledge of operations and intelligence priorities to provide strategic guidance and operational case management.
• Oversee program management across the customer organization, from traditional ops to specialized initiatives.
• Conduct objective reviews of ongoing and potential operations to ensure mission success.
• Act as the critical connection between field personnel and the Intelligence Community, enabling clear communication and alignment.
