Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced Counterintelligence Analyst – Expert to deliver timely, relevant, and actionable advice to enhance the CI posture of supported activities. This role ensures intelligence oversight compliance, accurately documents and reports CI indicators or concerns, and provides senior-level analytical support.

The CI Analyst will work collaboratively across communities, assimilate large volumes of data, and independently produce high-value CI reports and products at the operational

Qualifications

• Six+ years in counterintelligence operations within DoD or equivalent.
• Experience with HUMINT cycle, CI support, and risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of F3EAD and CI disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely CI analysis and recommendations to improve CI posture.
• Ensure intelligence oversight compliance and document CI indicators.
• Develop comprehensive CI reports and association analyses.
• Coordinate with communities and de-conflict information across sections.
• Maintain data in IDSRS and perform in-depth asset reviews.
• Participate in asset validation panels and ensure proper conduct.
• Advise on signature reduction training standards and use.
• Demonstrate proficiency in HUMINT operations and risk analysis.
• Support reporting cycles and propose corrective actions.
