Job summary

First American's Agency Division seeks a licensed attorney to provide underwriting support and guidance related to real estate title insurance commitments and policies. The role involves counseling company personnel, agents, and customers and ensuring adherence to underwriting standards.

The position requires familiarity with real estate law, abstract thinking, and the ability to craft creative solutions. Occasional travel is expected; remote work within driving distance of New Jersey is allowed

Qualifications

This position is remote within driving distance of New Jersey as it requires occasional local travel for business meetings and events. Provides underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel, agents, and customer(s), related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
