Job summary
Honeywell is seeking a Principal Attorney, Process Automation in Houston to serve as a senior legal advisor for the Process Automation business, managing a portfolio of complex commercial transactions.
You will negotiate and draft technology and service agreements, advise on regulatory compliance and emerging technology risks, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and leadership to support contract execution.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited institution and bar admission.
- Minimum 5 years negotiating complex commercial agreements including licensing and SaaS.
- Experience as in-house counsel or tech-focused law firm.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and review complex commercial agreements, including technology licensing, SaaS, supply agreements, service contracts, and joint development agreements.
- Provide legal advice on contract strategy, risk management, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, compliance, and other business units to support contract execution and objectives.
- Support dispute resolution, contract compliance monitoring, and training on legal best practices to leadership.
