Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent experience.
• 9–12 years of practicing law in a law firm or in‑house department.
• Leadership experience with direct-report responsibility.
• License to practice law in at least one state or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree may be accepted in lieu of education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex legal matters and advise senior leadership on enterprise‑wide initiatives.
• Provide strategic, business‑oriented solutions on litigation, pre‑litigation, regulatory, and contractual issues.
• Oversee and direct outside counsel; manage trends in various litigation categories.
• Partner with Pro Sales and Artisan Design Group on contract negotiation, real estate, HR, compliance, and governance matters.
• Develop and deliver training, memoranda, and presentations on legal topics.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor legal talent within the department.
