Huntington Bank seeks a skilled litigation attorney to join its Legal Department. You will oversee a portfolio of litigation, investigations, and other contested matters across Huntington and affiliates, using thoughtful analysis and strategic business judgment.

The ideal candidate has substantial in-house or firm experience and can communicate with senior leaders. You will help manage spend, trends, and eDiscovery processes within the department.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience.
• Eligible to be licensed as corporate counsel or admitted to practice law in the state (Ohio preferred) where job will be located.

Responsabilités

• Oversee litigation and pre-litigation matters by assessing risks, selecting outside counsel, and guiding strategy.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate claims, develop factual records, preserve evidence, and support dispute resolution.
• Lead the Legal Department's eDiscovery function, overseeing preservation, collection, and review processes and vendor relationships.
• Monitor trends and legal risks, analyze data, and manage exposure to strengthen litigation prevention.
• Prepare matter assessments, exposure analyses, and reserve recommendations for leadership and risk committees.
• Collaborate across the Legal Department to identify, manage, and mitigate enterprise legal risk.
