Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior legal professional to provide strategic guidance on patent law, open source governance, and regulatory compliance. You will align legal strategies with business objectives and lead efforts across internal teams and external counsel.

Qualifications

Requirements

Law degree from an accredited law school
5 years’ experience in law
License to practice law in at least one state
Registered USPTO patent attorney
Extensive experience counseling clients on patentable subject matter, invention, and open source software governance
Experience providing legal advice and counsel on complex business matters
Ability to develop and implement legal strategies aligned with organizational goals
Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and policy analysis
Skill in managing legal support for business transactions and projects
Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and evaluation of legislative and regulatory developments
