Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. State Bar with in-house counsel eligibility if relocating.
• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in negotiation and drafting of significant complex commercial agreements and U.S./global transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the legal workstream on domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, minority investments, collaborations, and joint ventures from strategy to post-closing integration.
• Draft, structure, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Lead transactions involving Ford’s global supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Strategize with senior management and negotiate directly with counterparties and joint venture partners.
• Counsel senior management on transaction risk, governance, and execution strategy; present to executives.
