Job summary

Roblox is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Litigation to join our Legal team in San Mateo, CA. You will manage a high-volume docket across jurisdictions and advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy.

This role requires 7+ years of litigation experience, California Bar membership, and a background in a technology company. Roblox offers equity compensation and full-time benefits, with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience is required).
• Technology company experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
• California Bar membership or eligible in-house registration in California.
• Experience managing high-volume dockets across multiple jurisdictions.
• Broad complex litigation with emphasis in regulatory, consumer, products liability, trade secrets, and employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume docket of coordinated and parallel proceedings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support international investigations and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel.
• Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks.
• Coordinate internal discovery activities and subpoena responses.
• Address pre-litigation disputes.
• Assist with internal investigations.
• Support Legal department and team projects, as assigned.
