Qualifications

  • JD degree from an accredited national school and active license to practice required.
  • 15+ years of experience practicing law with proven accomplishments as in-house counsel or in a law firm.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience negotiating contracts in Asia Pacific is preferred.
  • Transactional experience and excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end domestic and international RFP processes, advising on legal and business issues and developing strategies.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate client project contracts, vendor agreements, and software license agreements.
  • Assist the General Counsel with claims management and litigation support.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and project teams to support legal matters.
  • Provide legal research and produce clear business correspondence and documents.
