Qualifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar and four years of recent full-time legal experience after admission.
• Eighteen months of supervision of other attorneys in administrative/managerial work.

Responsibilities

• Review accommodation requests per EEOC criteria and apply applicable laws.
• Provide guidance to the Assistant Commissioner on the accommodation process.
• Draft official correspondence related to accommodation requests.
• Coordinate meetings to review accommodation requests.
• Prepare and generate reports to track accommodation activity.
• Maintain accurate, current, and confidential records of accommodations.
• Deliver workforce training on reasonable accommodation policies and procedures.
• Assist employees and managers in understanding rights and responsibilities regarding accommodations.
• Ensure compliance with DCAS and EEOC regulations.
