Qualifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
• 6+ years of relevant legal experience, including civil rights, government service, private practice, or prosecutors.
• Strong analytical ability and practical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and guidance to City Hall staff to advance mayoral initiatives.
• Handle a wide range of legal matters for the Mayor’s Office, including legislation, ethics, litigation strategy, investigations, and contract drafting.
• Draft and review contracts, releases, licenses, and other agreements for the Mayor’s Office.
• Supervise and mentor attorneys and professionals on the Chief Counsel team.
• Coordinate with senior policymakers and agencies reporting to the Chief Counsel.
