Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years in complex commercial PBM contracting within healthcare.
• Demonstrated experience leading high-stakes negotiations as first-chair counsel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead (first-chair) attorney on complex client contracts including PBM agreements.
• Lead negotiations of contracts spanning hundreds to thousands of pages with significant financial exposure.
• Draft, review, and negotiate non-standard contract terms balancing risk and commercial goals.
• Oversee contracts through full lifecycle: proposal, execution, interpretation, dispute resolution, termination.
• Provide strategic legal advisory to senior business leaders on risk and regulatory matters.
• Partner with sales, finance, compliance, regulatory, and operations teams to support client relationships.
