The ideal candidate has a JD from a leading law school and 5+ years of experience in the renewables industry, particularly in M&A and project development. Responsibilities include providing legal counsel, drafting agreements, and managing outside counsel. The position offers a hybrid work model and generous health benefits, with a base salary of $160,000 – $200,000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience at a major law firm or in-house legal department.
• Significant experience in M&A, real estate, and project development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on emerging opportunities in the energy sector.
• Support and negotiate project and corporate financing.
• Draft and negotiate project documents such as lease agreements.
