Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Newark, Delaware, seeks a Senior Counsel for Legal Discovery Management to support and optimize the end-to-end discovery process, including identification, preservation, collection, review and production for litigation, regulatory inquiries and internal investigations.

You will coordinate with internal teams, outside counsel and vendors, manage multiple matter streams, track milestones and deliverables, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with data

Qualifications

• Law degree and bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of discovery experience in financial services, consulting, or top-tier law firms.
• Familiar with ESI workflows, preservation, collection and production.
• Experience coordinating discovery with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Project management and change-management exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point-of-contact for legal teams, coordinating discovery activities.
• Respond to and fulfill eDiscovery requests across data sources.
• Coordinate the discovery lifecycle among attorneys, outside counsel, vendors, and IT.
• Manage matter planning, budgeting, and custodial scoping with timelines.
• Coordinate data restoration and chain-of-custody documentation as needed.
• Oversee day-to-day case details and understand business data uses for requests.
• Liaise with global teams and vendors to manage requests.
• Support process improvements across eDiscovery operations.
• Draft and review process management documentation.
• Data-driven problem solving and risk management.
