Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Counsel to guide legal strategy for large-scale datacenter development and infrastructure projects in Bastrop, TX. The role requires advising on land use, permits, power generation, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

You will draft and negotiate real estate, energy, and interconnection agreements, coordinate with regulators, and lead complex contract negotiations with EPCs and vendors.

Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active licensed attorney.
• 7+ years of legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal guidance on datacenter infrastructure development, land acquisition and utilities.
• Draft and negotiate land purchases, easements, PPAs, interconnection agreements and other real estate/transaction documents.
• Advise on zoning, permitting, environmental reviews, power generation interconnections and related infrastructure requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to brief county, state and federal regulators on applicable matters.
• Negotiate complex construction contracts, EPC agreements and utility infrastructure contracts.
