Job summary

Navitas Resourcing Group seeks an Associate General Counsel – Construction / EPC to join its Americas legal team. The Senior Counsel will partner with executive leadership on matters spanning engineering, design, construction and EPC project delivery, drafting and negotiating agreements and guiding risk and compliance.

Responsibilities include managing disputes, advising on governance, and supporting transactions with a fast-paced, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• JD, licensed and in good standing in Texas.
• 5+ years in large-scale EPC/construction projects.
• Law firm + in-house mix preferred.
• Excellent negotiator and communicator; fast-paced with sound commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate design, engineering, construction, EPC, subcontract and vendor agreements
• Act as trusted legal advisor to business line and functional leadership
• Manage commercial claims, mediations, arbitrations and litigation with insurers and outside counsel
• Handle labor & employment disputes, and liaise on NLRB, OSHA, EEOC, DOL, WARN, FLSA matters
• Support corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, M&A and financing transactions
