Job summary

QTS is seeking a Corporate Counsel - Construction in Chicago to lead the legal aspects of construction and procurement contracts and to advise on regulatory and environmental matters for development projects.

You will work with the Development team to negotiate high-impact construction agreements, manage outside counsel, and support project financing transactions in a fast-paced digital infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academics.
• Admission to the Bar of a U.S. state or DC is required.
• Two or more years of legal experience in corporate transactional practice or construction-focused work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee legal aspects of construction and procurement contracting terms and process.
• Negotiate and manage construction contracts with Development team.
• Advise on regulatory, health and environmental matters for development projects.
