Job summary

CACI International Inc. in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Senior COTS Developer to design, develop, and maintain COTS-based software for NGA missions.

You will write SQL, support BI, and enable data integration across HR, Financials, and CRM systems. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI and polygraph, a Computer Science/IT degree (or 4 years of relevant experience), and 10+ years in COTS development tools with API and data-migration experience.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience with COTS development tools to support system integration and APIs, platform customization, database and query management, and configuration control.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL, with hands-on experience writing complex queries against relational databases.
• Proficiency in HTML.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, create, modify, and maintain application programs, components, and interfaces within the COTS software suite.
• Support everyday business operations software, including HR, Financials, and Customer Relationship Data systems.
• Utilize COTS software development and reporting tools to support modernization and system enhancements, identify and resolve defects, and provide Tier 3 support.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from the database into usable reports.
• Work with BI and integration components of the software.
• Support system integration and API development to connect COTS applications with other systems.
• Perform platform customization, database and query management, and configuration control.
• Support data conversion and data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure development work aligns with business and technical requirements.
