Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Senior Costing Analyst to lead strategic data processing and BOM cost optimization to support business planning. You will coordinate with Business Planning, Hardware Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop quotation BOM for customer projects.

You will build data frameworks, ensure cost data accuracy, and deliver dashboards to reveal cost drivers. This role requires collaboration across Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Field teams to support RFP/RFQ responses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science related field.
• Minimum 2 years' related experience.
• Experience in computer hardware or server manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with data analysis, cost or BOM management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to support changing requirements.

About The Role

About The Role The Senior Costing Analyst is responsible for strategic business raw data processing and analyzation to support business planning. This position will coordinate with Business Planning, Hardware Engineering and cross-functional teams to define, scope, and develop quotation BOM to support projects implement into the customer environment. The Costing Analyst will work with team members to anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and work across functions to establish cost/pricing BOM for ZT business. This role is reporting to the Sr. Manager.

What You will Do

• Act as raw data collection, database management and cost optimization.
• Provide accurate BOM and analyze cost information to support business projects development and operations.
• Sufficient support all cost and BOM relate questions and requirements.
• Develop and refine data analytical frameworks and processes in the collection of raw data and transform data in supporting business planning’s strategy in BOM accuracy, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in ensuring cost data accuracy.
• Identify and remedy gaps in data quality and accuracy of raw data and standardize and automate the transformation of raw cost data into data as the “single source of truth” for BOM and cost data for use by Business Planning and other cross-functional teams.
• Conduct data deep-dives and identify the drivers for trends and changes in cost data and its effect on its influence in Business Planning’s strategy to achieve customer’s expectations.
• Create descriptive and engaging dashboards in identifying and understanding drivers of historical cost data to deliver data-driven insights to deliver insights and recommendations to support Business Planning ‘s initiatives.
• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams including Business Planning, Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Customer Operation and Logistics to collect cost information, establish BOM to supports business team to complete RFP/RFQ and customer commitments.
• Work with Field team to ensure customer expectations are met without risking corporate business goals.
• Support business operation trouble shoot cost issues, remove obstacles, track issues and make judgment calls to prevent risk to the business.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure timely cost recovery on customer programs.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science related field
• Minimum 2 years' related experience
• Computer hardware and/or server manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Excellent collaborative, flexible and adaptable
• Drives for results and positive teamwork
• Works effectively across organizations to achieve company goals and objectives.
• SAP, Syspro, Agile and other program management methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to support rapidly changing customer requirements while striving for efficiency and process improvement.
• Participate in complex projects and meet RFP/RFQ requirements and schedules.
• Ability to communicate results across internal stakeholders
• Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Power Pivot.
• 2 years’ experience in Python in writing scripts to automate data retrieval, and processing and analysis of large and complex datasets.
• 2 years’ experience in Tableau creating compelling stories with dashboards and reports.

Compensation

ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $66,375.00 and $97,350.00 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications. Base salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
