Job summary

TCOM, a Columbia, MD area employer, seeks a senior financial analyst to plan, analyze and control project costs and schedules under FAR 15.4 guidelines. The role emphasizes government contracting processes, budgeting, and variance analysis.

You will interact with CAMs and management to ensure accurate cost reporting and proposals. Required is a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics and 6–8 years of financial analysis, with project controls experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 6–8 years of financial analysis experience; project management or project controls preferred.
• Experience with FAR 15.4 cost proposals and proposal audits is a plus.
• Knowledge of cost control and pricing procedures in government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedule using CPM scheduling techniques.
• Collaborate with CAMs to provide monthly status updates and percentage completion assessments.
• Compile and analyze cost and progress data for estimate-at-completion.
• Calculate and document variance-at-completion.
• Monitor actual costs and provide corrective action recommendations to management.
