Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer for the Milwaukee Design Center in Wisconsin. The role focuses on cost reduction of medical device products through BOM optimization, supplier changes, and design simplifications.

You will lead ECRs/ECOs, balance risk, and ensure regulatory and quality system compliance. The position requires 8+ years in engineering for manufactured products, with CAD expertise (SolidWorks) and BOM management experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in manufactured products, medical device or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive cost-reduction initiatives for medical device products, including BOM optimization and supplier changes.
• Lead engineering changes (ECRs/ECOs) and ensure ISO/IEC FDA compliance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing on material/process substitutions and manufacturability.
• Assess technical feasibility and risk of proposed cost-down changes with design engineers.
• Support DFM, DFA, DFC improvements on released products.
• Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, RCA to cost and quality improvements.
