Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost consultancy services across diverse, large-scale construction projects such as commercial, manufacturing, and high-tech facilities. The role emphasizes client-facing leadership, cost planning, and value engineering.

The candidate will estimate change orders, develop cost plans, and coordinate with design teams and general contractors to ensure accurate cost data and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or current progress toward it.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plans.
• Coordinate cost information with design teams and general contractor.
• Review pricing, support value engineering and negotiate fair contracts.
• Produce monthly cost reports and manage post‑contract variances.
