The Opportunity

In This Role You Will

1. Participate actively in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation to analysis and reporting.
2. Manage change processes, including identification, analysis, approval, and implementation of cost-affecting changes.
3. Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
4. Assist in preparing and agreeing on final accounts, including claims, to ensure optimal value for clients.
5. Create estimates and cost plans for key client projects.
6. Oversee project expenditure through valuations and cost reports, communicating variations clearly.
7. Support effective project management with detailed cost documentation and timely communication.
8. Assist in resolving construction disputes and claims transparently.
9. Mentor and lead your team to foster high performance and professional growth.

The salary range is between $109,000 and $145,000, depending on experience, education, and skills.

We Would Love To Hear From You If You

1. Have experience as a senior cost manager, preferably from a consultancy background.
2. Have experience in pre-contract cost management, including budget control, cost planning, and initiating change discussions with stakeholders, knowledgeable about alternative construction materials.
3. Are chartered or working towards chartership; we can assist.
4. Hold a degree or equivalent experience in project management or construction.
5. Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
6. Enjoy a dynamic environment and managing your priorities and deadlines.
7. Build strong relationships with your team and clients through openness and shared purpose.
