Job summary

RepliGen Corporation in the United States is seeking a hands-on Finance professional to oversee cost accounting, inventory oversight and analysis for our US plants. This role partners with operations and reports to the Sr.

Accounting Manager, requiring the ability to multi-task and improve processes in a fast-moving bioprocessing environment. Key duties include monthly close for inventory and COGS, standard cost validation, budgeting, cycle count transition, gross margin analysis by product

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years in cost and inventory accounting in manufacturing.
• Understanding of US GAAP and SOX required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close for inventory and COGS, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing variances with operations to improve cost efficiency.
• Lead annual standard cost roll and validate costs with overheads.
• Coordinate budgeting/forecasting for materials, labor and overhead.
• Assist with quarterly physical inventory and cycle-count transition.
• Perform gross margin analysis by product line and identify cost saving opportunities.
• Oversee inventory transactions and integration of acquisitions' inventory processes.
• Monitor SOX controls related to inventory and perform self-testing as required.
