Job summary

Ledgent in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant/Cost-Inventory Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting, cost and inventory tasks, and collaborate with the Controller to deliver accurate financial results. This onsite role involves month-end close, reconciliations, and cost accounting across inventory records, with a focus on ERP optimization and internal controls.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor's degree are required; Sage

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Full-cycle accounting expertise.
• Cost accounting and/or inventory accounting experience.
• Strong ERP and systems skills; highly system savvy.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Food & Beverage manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Sage X3 experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes
• Prepare and support month-end and year-end close
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Analyze and maintain product cost and inventory records
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Review inventory transactions and cost allocations
• Support audits and compliance requirements
• Partner closely with the Controller on accounting operations
• Improve accounting processes and system efficiencies
