SCRAM Systems in Sharonville, OH is seeking a Senior Cost & GL Accountant to oversee cost accounting for plant operations. You will manage cost analysis, reporting, and provide insights to guide decisions across purchasing, production, inventory, and distribution.

The role requires collaboration across departments to maintain accurate records of costing and BOMs. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, perform variances analysis, and utilize ERP systems to analyze data and prepare

• Experience in cost accounting and standard costing.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate records for inventory costing.
• Compile product costs: direct labor, materials, overhead.
• Lead planning, reporting, and analyses of standard product costing.
• Drive cost improvement and process controls.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve cost/inventory issues.
• Maintain BOM accuracy with Operations and Engineering.
• Conduct reconciliations and analysis of inventory and COGS.
• Investigate variances including PPV, revaluation, repairs, and scrap.
• Utilize ERP to manage and analyze data.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL items.

Job Description

Job Summary:

HYRBRID ROLE - 2-3 days per week on-site required in Sharonville OH.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Sr. Cost & GL Accountan t is to ensure proper treatment of all financial activity associated with plant operations. Manage accurate cost analysis / reporting and provide insight to support informed decisions. This includes monitoring transactions associated with purchasing, production, inventory, and distribution .

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate records and documentation for inventory cost ing .
• Compile product costs, including direct labor, direct materials and overhead.
• Lead planning, reporting, and analysis of standard product costing . Updates standards when appropriate and identifies potential impact.
• Drive continuous financial improvement and i ntroduce process control as needed .
• Works closely and collaboratively across multi-department teams to provide cost accounting support and resolve cost and inventory issues.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis, particularly focusing on inventory reconciliation and cost of goods sold.
• Investigate and report reasons behind significant variances , includ ing review of PPV, revaluation, repairs, and scrap .
• Utilize ERP system to effectively manage and analyze data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail??
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.? Research and resolution of various general ledger reconciling items.??
