Consertus in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to lead cost management for a power generation engagement. The role covers development and re-baselining of project cost estimates at 0%, 60%, 90%, and IFC design gates, following AACE 18R-97 Class-2 practices.

You will verify EAC calculations, manage cost variance analysis, and establish monthly payment review methodology, with final cost reporting and cost-recovery opportunities at close-out.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of cost estimating experience on power generation projects.
• Experience with AACE 18R-97 Class-2 practices.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and invoices.
• Strong analytical and cost variance analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Lead cost management across all project phases.
• Support development and re-baselining of the project cost estimate at each design gate (0%, 60%, 90%, IFC) in accordance with AACE 18R-97 Class-2.
• Verify Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations at each stage gate.
• Lead cost variance and overrun analysis.
• Set the methodology for monthly payment application review and prepare final cost reports at close-out.
• Review contractor estimates and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology.
• Update owner’s estimates and prepare a Class-2 estimate at design gates.
