Job summary

Extension, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Cost Estimator in Oak Creek, WI for a direct-hire role to develop accurate cost estimates from customer drawings and specifications.

You will work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service to evaluate materials, labor, and production methods and to support custom product development. Candidates typically have 3+ years of manufacturing-related estimating experience and strong blueprint-reading skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing-related estimating experience (estimating, engineering, CNC, production, or product costing).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and concepts to develop accurate cost estimates and quotations.
• Participate in Teams meetings and customer discussions regarding project scope.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.
• Evaluate materials, labor, manufacturing methods, and production requirements.
• Support custom product development and feasibility analysis.
• Maintain costing, labor, and pricing information.
• Serve as a resource for estimating questions and help lead discussions on complex projects.
