Advance Management Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator - MEP for an on-site, full-time role in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating and 5–7+ years in MEP estimating, with strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Applicants should be proficient in cost estimation, takeoffs, bid evaluations, change orders, and value engineering, and familiar with DB, DBB, or JOC delivery methods.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional construction estimating.
• 5–7+ years in MEP estimating.
• Strong MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) estimating.
• Experience with complete cost estimates, takeoffs, bids, change orders, and value engineering.
• Experience with Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and/or JOC."
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, labor/material pricing, and MEP systems.
• Experience with Bluebeam, RSMeans, Accubid, or Trimble MEP preferred.
• Prevailing wage/union rates knowledge (NECA/MCAA) a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Public-sector, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial project experience preferred.

Role Description:

The Senior Estimator - MEP is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA.

We’re looking for a senior-level construction estimator with:

• 10+ years of professional construction estimating experience
• 5–7+ years of MEP estimating experience
• Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing estimating expertise
• Experience with complete cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, bid/quote evaluation, change orders, and value engineering
• Experience with Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and/or Job Order Contracting
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, labor/material pricing, and MEP systems
• Experience with tools such as Bluebeam, RSMeans, Accubid, or Trimble MEP is preferred
• Knowledge of prevailing wage/union labor rates, NECA/MCAA is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, finance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Prior experience in public-sector, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial projects and familiarity with agency requirements is highly beneficial.
