Job summary

Atrium is supporting a growing client in the manufacturing space, headquartered in Alpharetta, GA. The Sr Cost Accounting Manager will report to the Global Director of Inventory Accounting and will operate in a hybrid work format onsite 2 days per week with some travel to plants.

The role emphasizes SOX controls around cost accounting, SAP S/4 Hana implementation related to inventory and cost accounting, and leading a small team with monthly deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance is required.
• MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Experience leading people in cost accounting.
• Experience with SOX controls and building automated workflows.

This role is positioned to be in a hybrid work format onsite 2 days per week with some additional travel to the plants.

You will:

• Handle SOX compliance around cost accounting for the legacy brand
• Assist in the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana related to inventory and cost accounting
• Have a deep understanding of cost accounting related to manufacturing
• Manage a small team with monthly deliverables
• Coordinate with Operational Finance
• Communicate effectively between the plants, corporate accounting, and FP&A

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• MBA or CPA is preferred
• Some experience managing people
• Experience automating and building processes and workflows in a SOX environment
• Experience with a large multi-billion-dollar company
• SAP experience
