Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Sr. Cost Accountant to own and elevate the cost accounting function for a growing manufacturing organization. You will drive standard costing accuracy, partner with operations, and influence key business decisions.

The role offers broad cross-functional exposure across manufacturing, inventory, pricing, and financial reporting, with a focus on cost analysis and financial recommendations that improve profitability and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Analytics, or related field.
• 5-7 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience developing, implementing, and maintaining standard cost systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience with inventory and manufacturing reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance cost accounting processes, documentation, and controls.
• Develop, maintain, and validate standard costs, including labor and overhead rates.
• Analyze inventory valuation, movement, and manufacturing cost variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and new product cost estimation activities.
• Manage month-end costing and inventory close activities, including reconciliations and journal entry reviews.
