Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst to lead cost accounting, inventory, and product costing within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will own month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, and provide costing insights to Plant Management and Finance leadership in GAAP-compliant ways.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in cost accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle/Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles.
• Experience with standard costing and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries for cost updates and variances.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and explain drivers.
• Maintain standard costs, BOMs, routings, and overhead rates.
• Support audits and ensure GAAP compliance.
