Job summary

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, located in McKinney, TX, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to support manufacturing finance through cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and standard cost maintenance. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Materials and Logistics to ensure accurate reporting and cost control across the business.

The role offers exposure to leadership, opportunities for process improvements, and engagement with ERP initiatives within a respected global manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• Cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Standard cost development and maintenance.
• General ledger reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Inventory accounting and control.
• Financial reporting and data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel including pivot tables.
• ERP systems knowledge with SAP preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Independent decision-making and initiative.
• Attention to detail with strategic thinking.
• Leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs across products and operations.
• Collaborate with Materials, Engineering, Operations and Master Data teams.
• Support logistics for freight forecasts and financial data accuracy.
• Assist with inventory control activities and audits.
• Develop new product standard costs and ensure timely implementation.
• Lead continuous improvement projects affecting financial processes.
• Support SAP enhancements and ERP functionality expansions.
• Assist with semi-annual cost reviews and special projects.
