Job summary

LGM Pharma in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to direct product costing, manufacturing analysis and inventory valuation. The role provides recommendations to senior leadership to help achieve company goals.

Responsibilities include month-end close, actual vs. budget analyses, and maintaining standard costs in the ERP system while driving cost efficiencies and ensuring GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in cost accounting, general accounting and manufacturing.
• 3+ years operational experience with inventory and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct month-end close activities including inventory reconciliations and variances.
• Prepare actual vs. budget analyses for manufacturing costs and inventory.
• Analyze design changes and methods for cost impact and variance reporting.
• Maintain standard costs for materials and labor in ERP.
• Lead excess/obsolete inventory review and ERP accuracy initiatives.
• Develop policies, internal controls, and cross-functional reporting.
