Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Boulder, CO. You will own inventory, product costing, and month-end close across the organization, leveraging INFOR M3 and BI tools to deliver actionable financial insights.

Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and Accounting leadership to drive cost visibility, budgeting, and continuous improvement in costing and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• CMA certification preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (INFOR M3) and BI/reporting tools beneficial

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process for inventory, material movement, product costing, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare data for milk consolidation, inventory absorption, and profit elimination.
• Maintain and enhance standard costs in the ERP system, considering seasonal trends and changes.
• Partner with FP&A and Operations to develop budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Manage external production and co-pack financial accounting and reconciliations.
• Perform detailed inventory roll-forward analyses by facility and validate accuracy.
